Born in 1969 in Hradec Králové. He took up the guitar at age 13. His first teacher was his older brother Vladimír and later on the well-known Hradec Králové based guitarist Miloš Dvořáček, with whom he studied classical guitar. Although he completed his secondary education at a technical school, he started teaching guitar at a learning center right after graduation. At age 19 he entered the Conservatory of Pardubice where he studied under Prof. Stanislav Juřica and later Prof. František Zima. At that time he worked as a teacher at the Primary Art School in Třebechovice pod Orebem. For a number of years now, he has worked at the Primary Art School Na Střezině in Hradec Králové, where he teaches classical guitar and since 1997 has also led a guitar orchestra.
As a performer he’s gone through a number of bands and genres – folk, rock, country, southern rock, grunge.
His hobbies – history, philosophy, psychology, art and beer.
In 2003 he approached conservatory students and graduates and founded Bohemian Guitar Orchestra, of which he is a conductor and an artistic director. He also makes transcriptions for the orchestra.

Born in 1961 in Lanškroun. She graduated from the Primary Art School in Pardubice and from the Conservatory of Brno with Arnošt Sádlík as her teacher. She gained second prize in the International Guitar Competition in Kutná Hora in 1982. She used to be a member of STOPA (a country band from Pardubice) for many years. She is a teacher of guitar and the conductor of the school's guitar orchestra at the Primary Art School Havlíčkova in Pardubice.
Her hobbies: whitewater rafting, cycling, skiing, culture, reading and beer.
She plays on the standart classical guitar.

Born in Hradec Králové in 1986. He studied electronics at a high school in Pardubice and at present he attends classes at Czech Technical University in Prague.
At the age of 7, he started playing the violin. He took up the guitar in 1995 with Petr Šetřil and a year later he enrolled at the Primary Art School Na Střezině with Rostistav Coufal. Over the years, he has been a member of several formations, including a trio, a quartet and a bit later the guitar orchestra as well, contributing a great deal to its winning awards at the 2004 and 2005 Prague Strings Competition. In 2008 he participated in the International Guitar Orchestra Festival (the GOFI contest) in Germany where BGO reached the highest award. He likes music, electronics, cycling, skiing and spending time with friends.
He plays on the standart classical guitar in BGO.

Born in 1993 in Dvůr Králové nad Labem. He visited local primary art school since 1999, where he was learned by the teacher Michal Koudelka. When he was 8 years old, he started to play a guitar training camp with Rostislav Coufal. He is studying high school in Dvůr Králové nad Labem now. His hobbies are for example playing the guitar, cycling, cars and technologies.
He joined BGO in 2011 and plays bass and classical guitar.

Born in 1990. At present she studies at the Medical faculty of Charles University in Hradec Králové. She started playing the guitar at the age of 8 with Alena Bauerova at the Primary Art School Na Strezine. She's taken part in several competitions for soloists, but has been more successful as a member of a guitar quartet (second prize in 2003 at the Hradecke Guitarreando Guitar Competition), the guitar orchestra (third prize at the Prague Strings Competition in 2004 and second and first prize in 2005) and the guitar duo with Katka Vyroubalová.
Her hobbies: spending time with friends, movies, books, music, foreign languages, sleeping.
She joined BGO in August 2005 and plays the soprano and the standart classical guitar.

Born in 1976. When she was 16 she picked up a few songs and chords and in 1993 started to play the classical guitar at the Primary Art School in Třebechovice pod Orebem with R. Coufal as her teacher. 3 years later, she changed it for the Primary Art School Na Střezině in Hradec Králové (with the same teacher) and also became a member of a guitar quartet and the school's guitar orchestra. The quartet participated in the Hradecké Guitarreando Guitar Competition several times and won several prizes (second place in 1998 and first place in 1999, 2001 and 2003). The orchestra won third prize at the I. Prague Strings guitar and mandolin festival.
She projects high-voltage power poles for a living.
She plays on the standart classical and on the bass guitar in BGO.

Born in 1991. He graduated Bohuslav Balbín Episcopal Gymnasium in Hradec Králové in 2011 and now he is attending University of Economics in Prague. He started playing the guitar at the age of 8, his first teacher was Miss Jana Kindernayová at the Primary Art School Střezina in Hradec Králové. In years 2003-2011 he studied at the class of Rostislav Coufal.
His hobbies are playing the guitar, reading and acting in a theatre. His most famous roles include the inventor of stenography, a female prostitute or a one-gulp snack.
He has successfully taken part in many guitar competitions and received the following awards: 2002 - 1st prize at the district level of the National Competition of Primary Art Schools; 2004 - 3rd prize at the Prague Strings international competition (with a guitar orchestra); 2005 - 1st prize in the final of the National Competition of Primary Art Schools, 2nd prize at the Prague Junior Note national solo competition, 1st prize at the Prague Strings (with BGO), 2nd prize at the Prague Strings (with Hradec Králové Guitar Orchestra); 2008 - 1st prize in the final of the National Competition of Primary Art Schools, 2nd prize at the Ivan Ballu Music Festival in Dolný Kubín, Slovakia.
He has been a member of the orchestra since 2004 and plays on the standard and soprano classical guitars.

He was born on 7 March 1995 in Pardubice. When he was at kindergarten he started to play flute, which later exchange for guitar. He still study guitar at ZUŠ Havlíčkova Pardubice at Jitka Bláhová. He also play duo with Veronika Vitáčková and he is member of Pardubice guitar orchestra. He studies at secondary grammar school in Pardubice. His hobbies are travelling, music, athletic sports, snowboarding, skiing and of course playing guitar.

Born in 1979 in Pardubice. At age 7 she started playing the flute. Subsequently she took a two-year guitar playing course at the House of Culture Dubina in Pardubice with Jindřich Doskočil and then she continued at the Primary Art School Polabiny with Jindřich Macek, Radim Černík and Jan Zedník. After completing her studies at gymnasium, she spent a year studying welfare services at another secondary school and then she entered the Conservatory of Pardubice where she studied classical guitar with Prof. Stanislav Juřica and later Prof. Anna Lauterbachová. Since 2000 she has worked as a teacher of guitar at the Primary Art School Havlíčkova in Pardubice.
Her hobbies include dancing (she is a member of the dance ensemble "BT studio Nadi Gregorové"). Since 2007 she has been studying musical science at the Palacký University in Olomouc. She likes skiing and hiking. She doesn't like cooking :-).
She plays on the soprano and the standard classical guitar in BGO.

Born in 4. 2. 1982. He graduated from the Gymnasium of Jiří z Poděbrad in Poděbrady and at the present time he studies medicine at university in Hradec Králové. He played the guitar for the first 3 years as an autodidact and since 2002 he has been studying with R. Coufal. In 2003, he joined the guitar orchestra of the Primary Art School Na Střezině in Hradec Králové and in March 2005, he became a member of BGO.
His hobbies: guitar, books, films and photography.
He plays on the bass, the standart classical and the twelve-string guitar in BGO.

Born in 1985. She took up music at age 7. She started with the recorder at the Primary Art School in Zábřeh na Moravě, but then switched to the guitar which she has been playing for twelve years now. Her teachers were Mrs. J. Paličková and later Mrs. J. Kuzníková. In primary art school she took part in both solo and chamber music competitions.
During her studies at the Zábřeh Gymnasium she accompanied recorder and flute players and played at various cultural events of the town.
To broaden her horizons she goes to the guitar festival in Mikulov every year where she participates in masterclasses, for example with Jens Wagner, Brigitte Zaczek and Alieksey Vianna.
She also plays the piano and apart from music she likes sports, hiking, dancing and recreational horse-riding. This year she is going to graduate from the Pardubice Conservatory where she has been studying with Prof. Miloš Šír. She also simultaneously studies at the Faculty of Education of the Hradec Králové University where she majors in musical education and mathematics for secondary schools.
She plays on the standard classical guitar.


Born in 1995 in Ústí nad Orlicí. She started playing the guitar at the age of 7 with Julie Hrdová at the Primary Art School in Králíky. In 2005 she took part in the National Competition of Primary Art Schools where she gained first place in the 0.b category and second place in the second category in 2008. She came fourth in the second category at the GUITARTALENT’08 International Competition. She likes sports – athletics, dancing, snowboard.
She plays on the standard classical guitar in the orchestra.

Born in 1988 in Chrudim, but she has lived in Heřmanův Městec her entire life. Absorbed by a longing to play songs with her friends at a camp fire, she started attending guitar classes at the Primary Art School in Heřmanův Městec. As it turned out playing songs at a camp fire didn’t really take place, instead she moved on to Chrudim to study with Eva Vítková under whose tutelage she succeeded in passing the entrance exam to the Conservatory of Kroměříž.
At present she studies at the Faculty of Education of the University of Hradec Králové with Petr Fiala. Her favorite free-time activities include reading, working with children, hiking, cycling, traveling by train and discussing important philosophical issues with friends over the drink with foam.
She plays on the standard classical guitar in the orchestra.

Born in 1983 in Decin and lives in Kamenice near Prague. Since seven he played three years for flute and sang in the school choir. This was followed by a musical pause and playing on the computer. The music is back at sixteen, he attended the Secondary School of Communication Engineering in Prague, and bewitchment by screaming of Jimi Hendrix guitar exceeded the limit, in which was enough just to listen. When he stretched strings on brother's guitar, enlisted in the classical course led by Vladimir Novotny and a year later joined his Prague Chamber Guitar Orchestra. After high school tasted language school, unemployment and labor surveyor.
He is PhD student of psychology at Masaryk University in Brno and as a personal assistant helps wheelchair users in Prague. Besides music, he enjoys literature, sports, scouting, film...
